Standard Funeral Price Guide (As of 1st October 2011)
Our standard services include the following:
- The provision of the Funeral Director's Services.
- Our professional attention in making all the arrangements.
- The removal of the deceased to our Chapel of Rest.
- Taking care of the deceased.
- A standard rookwood oak, elm or mahogany coffin with a choice of handles and a fully fitted interior.
- Use of our chapel of rest, including all viewing's.
- Listing of floral tributes and taking names if requested.
- Acknowledging donations.
- Provide a hearse and bearers for the funeral to leave from your choice of location.
- A contribution to overhead cost.

Basic Funeral Price Guide (As of 1st October 2011)
We are pleased to be able to offer the choice of a 'Basic' Funeral in addition to our standard price list. This is in accordance with the Code of Practice Statement as set by the National Association of Funeral Directors. We have followed this specification, but have included the facility of being able to visit the Chapel of Rest during normal office hours (Monday to Friday).
Our basic service includes the following:
- The provision of the Funeral Director's Services.
- Attending to all the necessary arrangements.
- Provision of all the required staff.
- A plain foil coffin of our choosing, suitable for the purposes of cremation or burial.
- The transfer of the deceased from the place of death (within 20 mile radius of our premises) to our Chapel of Rest.
- The care of the deceased, dressed in a simple shroud or the deceased's own clothing.
- A visit to the Chapel of Rest during office hours.
- The supply of a hearse only, direct to the nearest crematorium or cemetery.

GENERAL DISBURSEMENT FEES
(fees paid by us on the families behalf)
- Crematorium fees: St Faith's £675.00 (includes emission surcharge)
- Crematorium fees: Earlham £675.00 (includes emission surcharge)
- Doctors fees: £147.00 (2 x £73.50)
- Clergy fees: £102.00 (plus any travel expenses, usually about £10)
- Cemetery fees: At cost
- Press announcements: POA*
- Flowers: POA*
- Catering fees: POA*
Currently all printing is carried out using a third party and the prices are passed on to clients at cost plus a set up fee of £35.
Cemetery charges vary greatly, and subsequently it is difficult for us to state a specific cost.
If burial is preferred, please ask us for a quotation and we will be happy to oblige.
* Some of the disbursement charges incur VAT, for example; press notices, floral tributes and any catering costs. Not all our suppliers for these supplements are registered for VAT. Nontheless VAT has to be added (to taxable supplies only) on invoices issued by Allcock Family Funeral Services. For this reason an administrative charge of 5% is usually added to the cost price of these supplies.
Generally all Funeral Services and Church Fees are Exempt from VAT.
